My sister is watching Dancing With the Stars. It really blows my mind a little how much we love these crappy competition shows. It seems like from the beginning of TV, there have been competition shows or talent showcases. I find them all, with the exception of American Idol, incredibly stupid. I'm really sick of them to be honest.

It seems like these silly shows have taken over my sister's life and even when I want to watch something, I can't because she's watching one of them or recording it. *Oh the joys of DVR!* So now that DWTS and other silly competition shows have taken over my TV, what am I doing?

Well my writing skills have improved and homework is getting done much faster these days. Its actually better for me, but I can't stand the fact that I can't just watch TV anymore.

Well, I do admit I love watching American Idol, but thats it! I guess that really is no better but my sister, she's addicted to like three of these. I wish someone would come up with something new, original!
